Serving the Business and Construction Law Needs of California's Central Coast

Bonnheim & Bonnheim LLP

As central coast natives, brothers Travis and Wes are excited to be able to serve the community where they grew up. They pride themselves on providing practical, conscientious, and economic counsel.

Travis Bonnheim

Travis attended college at San Francisco State University and studied American History. He graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law in downtown San Francisco in 2011 and practiced for several years in the Bay Area in business regulation and general litigation. He is happy to be living back on the Central Coast with his family and working with his brother. Travis enjoys Mexican food, golf, surfing, and pinball.

Wes Bonnheim

Wes enlisted in the Army at 18 and served honorably for 5 years as a cryptologic linguist deploying multiple times in support of counternarcotics missions in Central and South America. He graduated from UCSB in 2007 with a degree in Philosophy before going on to graduate law school at the University of Missouri School of Law in 2010. Prior to starting Bonnheim and Bonnheim, LLP with his brother Travis, Wes was General Counsel for Papich Construction Company, Inc. Wes volunteers as a mentor with the Central Coast Chapter of Veterans Helping Veterans and is a Motorcycle Relief Project alumnus.

Construction Law

Wes and Travis represent a variety of contractors and suppliers in the construction industry and have experience working with both private and public construction projects, EPC contracts, residential building and renovation projects, equipment rentals, and material supply. They are familiar with the California Public Contract Code and California’s prompt payment statutes as well as the dispute resolution provisions of Caltrans’ 2006, 2010, and 2015 specifications.

Regardless of the size of your business or project they can help you develop agreement templates for your vendors and subcontractors, review and negotiate the terms of your contracts with general contractors and owners, and guide you through any disputes you may have, whether you are an owner, general contractor, or subcontractor.

Business and Corporate Matters

Bonnheim & Bonnheim also assists local businesses with new entity formations, changes in ownership, partnership disputes, corporate matters, and the creation or review of common business documents such as commercial leases, industrial leases, and purchase and sale agreements.

They have advised a variety of businesses including restaurant owners, farmers, medical office suites, and comedy clubs. Whatever your business venture, the Bonnheims are happy to help.
